Job Summary
Merck is seeking an Associate Director – Global Swine Technical Nutritionist to join its Animal Health division in Frankfort, Franklin County, US. This senior technical role provides worldwide nutrition expertise to support marketing, commercial, and R&D teams across the swine product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑level scientific and nutritional guidance for global swine products.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and R&D to integrate nutrition science into product strategy and launch plans.
- Develop technical content, training materials, and scientific presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with international animal health standards.
- Lead cross‑functional projects, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with veterinarians, nutritionists, and key opinion leaders worldwide.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in swine nutrition, animal health, or related technical roles.
- Proven track record of supporting global product lifecycles and driving scientific insight into commercial decisions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Compensation
Salary range: $119,558.01 per year.
