Job Summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (LPN or RN) for its Oak Pointe of Monett community in Monett, Barry County, US. This leadership role oversees nursing administration and ensures high-quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team, including LPNs, RNs, and CNAs, to deliver compassionate, resident‑centered care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor care plans, ensuring compliance with state regulations and Viva Senior Living policies.
• Conduct regular resident assessments, coordinate interdisciplinary care conferences, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and oversee medication management processes.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on budget, staffing, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements are met for the nursing department.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in good standing in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a senior living or long‑term care setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living and memory care.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, staffing schedules, and quality metrics.

Compensation & Benefits
