Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long‑term network architecture and capacity plans aligned with Lumen’s AI‑driven growth strategy.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of planners, engineers, and analysts to deliver reliable, high‑performance network solutions.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to ensure network designs meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Analyze traffic trends, forecast demand, and recommend infrastructure investments.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of network equipment and services.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on network performance and planning metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in network planning, design, or architecture, preferably in a carrier or cloud environment.
- Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, fiber optics, data center interconnect, and emerging AI‑enabled networking technologies.
- Proven leadership and project‑management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $131,479.45 annually.
