Job Summary
Oracle is hiring a Data Center Managing Counsel to work remotely from anywhere in the United States, supporting the Data Center and Networking legal team. This senior legal role offers a fixed salary of $216,214.27 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on all matters related to Oracle’s data center operations, cloud services, and networking infrastructure.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and licensing terms with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, product, finance, and sales—to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Lead or support litigation, dispute resolution, and government investigations as needed.
- Develop and maintain internal policies, best‑practice guidelines, and training programs for data‑center related legal issues.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry standards, and legal developments affecting cloud and data‑center services.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum 8 years of experience handling complex commercial contracts, preferably in technology, cloud, or data‑center environments.
- Strong understanding of data‑privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry‑specific regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.
