Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on all matters related to Oracle’s data center operations, cloud services, and networking infrastructure.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and licensing terms with customers, vendors, and partners.
• Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, product, finance, and sales—to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Lead or support litigation, dispute resolution, and government investigations as needed.
• Develop and maintain internal policies, best‑practice guidelines, and training programs for data‑center related legal issues.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, industry standards, and legal developments affecting cloud and data‑center services.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8 years of experience handling complex commercial contracts, preferably in technology, cloud, or data‑center environments.
• Strong understanding of data‑privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry‑specific regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.
