Job Summary

Contentful is seeking a Manager, Security Engineering (Corporate Systems) to lead its security initiatives from Orlando, Orange County, US. The role requires an experienced security leader located in the Eastern Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers focused on corporate systems and infrastructure.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and repeatable DevOps‑aligned processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Oversee threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response for corporate assets.
• Drive security automation and continuous monitoring to ensure compliance and risk reduction.
• Report security posture, metrics, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong background in security engineering, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands‑on experience with security tooling such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and IAM solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across distributed, cross‑functional teams.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone (ET).

Preferred Experience

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, etc.).
• Experience in SaaS environments and large‑scale corporate system security.
• Proven track record of building security automation pipelines.

Compensation

Salary: $120,213.24 annually.
