Job Summary
Broad River Rehabilitation is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist / SLP / PRN for its skilled nursing facility in Amelia, Clermont County, Ohio. This part‑time, PRN role offers flexible hours and a competitive annual salary of $206,716.84.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations for residents under physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based therapeutic techniques and assistive devices.
- Document all assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, occupational and physical therapists to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Provide education to residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
- Participate in case conferences, care plan meetings, and ongoing quality‑improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) and Ohio state licensure.
- Minimum of 1‑2 years clinical experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting (preferred).
- Strong assessment skills, knowledge of dysphagia management, and ability to use augmentative‑and‑alternative communication (AAC) tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, or a mix of both, based on staffing needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $206,716.84 (PRN). Additional benefits include competitive hourly rates for overtime, continuing education reimbursement, and a supportive work environment.
