Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, preparation, and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Supervise and mentor a team of tax associates and senior accountants, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Develop tax strategies that minimize client liabilities while ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate complex tax issues and solutions clearly to clients and senior firm leadership.
• Stay current on tax legislation, court decisions, and industry trends to proactively advise clients.
• Assist in business development activities, including client presentations and proposal preparation.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and meet all firm deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation required.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance and consulting.
• Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple entity types and industries.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client service skills.
• Proficiency with tax software (e.g., CCH, Thomson Reuters) and Microsoft Office Suite.
