About This Position
QE Solar is hiring a mid‑senior level Network Engineer in Scottsdale, Maricopa County, US. This role will design, deploy and maintain secure network and core infrastructure across data centers, cloud platforms and branch offices, with a salary range of $70,000‑$90,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement and manage VPN solutions, firewalls and routing protocols to ensure reliable, secure connectivity.
- Perform systems administration tasks including server hardening, patch management and performance monitoring.
- Integrate on‑premise networks with public‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and support hybrid deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, minimizing downtime.
- Document network designs, configurations and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with security, application and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in network engineering or systems administration.
- Strong hands‑on experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL), firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets) and hybrid integration.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SD‑WAN, network automation (Ansible, Python) and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
