Job Summary

Vizrt is seeking an Accountant – Controlling & Tax in Fort Sam Houston, Bexar County, US. This full‑time role supports financial controlling, regulatory compliance, IFRS reporting and payroll for US operations and provides backup for selected EMEA entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and quality‑assuring daily accounting activities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the Finance Manager.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, file tax returns and manage tax provisions.
• Maintain payroll processes, verify deductions and liaise with HR on employee compensation.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to harmonise reporting standards across US and EMEA entities.
• Identify process improvements, automate routine tasks and support audit preparations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in controlling, tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local tax codes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
