Job Summary
University of New Mexico – Hospitals is seeking an RN Coordinator for Perinatal Services in Bosque Farms, Valencia County, NM. This full‑time day shift role coordinates patient support, education, and oversight for perinatal access.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage perinatal patient care pathways from admission to discharge.
- Provide education and ongoing support to patients and families regarding perinatal services.
- Serve as the primary liaison between obstetric teams, imaging, and ancillary services.
- Track and document patient outcomes, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate scheduling, referrals, and follow‑up appointments for perinatal patients.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and data reporting for the Women’s Imaging department.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to care plan development.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in New Mexico.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in obstetrics, neonatology, or perinatal care.
- Strong organizational, communication, and patient‑education skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $45,598.26 per year (equivalent to $30.60‑$41.94 per hour). Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance are available.
