Senior Accounting Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full financial lifecycle of large‑scale construction projects, from budgeting to close‑out.
• Prepare and analyze Percentage of Completion (PoC) and Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) reports to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Collaborate directly with the CFO and senior leadership to develop financial strategies and forecasts.
• Maintain project cost controls, track change orders, and reconcile subcontractor invoices.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements and variance analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and promote best practices in construction accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in construction accounting or project accounting.
• Strong knowledge of PoC accounting, ASC 606, and GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
