Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, timely phone and digital support to members seeking behavioral health care outside regular business hours.

• Educate members on their benefits, treatment options, and available self‑help tools.
• Document interactions accurately in the Optum system, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
• Escalate urgent cases to clinical teams and follow up to guarantee continuity of care.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of behavioral health programs, telehealth platforms, and relevant state/federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health services, psychology, or related field preferred.
• 1‑2 years experience in customer service, call‑center, or health‑care navigation, preferably in behavioral health.
• Strong verbal communication, active‑listening, and empathy skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and remote‑work technology.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits
