Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, timely phone and digital support to members seeking behavioral health care outside regular business hours.

- Educate members on their benefits, treatment options, and available self‑help tools.
- Document interactions accurately in the Optum system, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
- Escalate urgent cases to clinical teams and follow up to guarantee continuity of care.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of behavioral health programs, telehealth platforms, and relevant state/federal guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health services, psychology, or related field preferred.
- 1‑2 years experience in customer service, call‑center, or health‑care navigation, preferably in behavioral health.
- Strong verbal communication, active‑listening, and empathy skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and remote‑work technology.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid US work authorization and reliable high‑speed internet connection.
Compensation & Benefits
