Head of Workplace

Zoom is seeking a Head of Workplace to lead Workplace Operations for its global sites (excluding China) from its headquarters in Trenton, Mercer County, US. This senior role oversees safety, efficiency, compliance and cost‑effectiveness across all offices, delivering a high‑performing, employee‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for Zoom’s worldwide office portfolio, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
• Develop and enforce operational standards, health‑and‑safety policies, and sustainability initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of workplace programs, including space planning, moves, refurbishments and technology integrations.
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation and performance management for all facilities services.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, IT and regional leaders to align workplace strategy with business goals and budget targets.
• Oversee emergency preparedness, business continuity planning and regulatory compliance across all locations.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Build and mentor a global team of facilities managers and support staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive facilities or workplace operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site, global portfolios (10+ locations).
• Strong financial acumen – budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control.
• Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation and compliance standards (OSHA, ISO, local regulations).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
