About This Position

The Senior Workday Business Analyst (IT) role at Raymond James in the United States drives HR, Payroll and Advisor Compensation technology solutions within Workday. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, translating needs into functional configurations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR, Payroll and Compensation leaders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into detailed Workday functional specifications, configuration recommendations and integration designs.
  • Lead design workshops, solution demos and UAT planning to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
  • Maintain documentation of business processes, system configurations, test scripts and change management artifacts.
  • Collaborate with Workday developers, integration engineers and project managers to deliver timely, compliant solutions.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise during system upgrades, releases and post‑implementation support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst, preferably in HR, Payroll or Compensation modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Advisor Compensation configuration and integration patterns.
  • Proven ability to elicit requirements, create functional designs and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a talent for simplifying complex technical concepts.
  • Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and security configuration is a plus.
