PRS is seeking an experienced SQL Server / Azure SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to work 100% remotely from anywhere in the United States. This senior role supports cloud‑based database solutions for Fortune 500 clients and offers a competitive salary of $115,069.95.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure SQL Database and on‑premises SQL Server environments.
• Implement best‑practice security, backup, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries for high‑availability workloads.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to automate database provisioning using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DBA staff.
• Maintain documentation, compliance standards, and service‑level agreements for enterprise clients.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a SQL Server/ Azure SQL DBA.

• Experience with backup/restore, replication, Always On Availability Groups, and high‑availability architectures.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Experience

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Database Administrator Associate or MCSE.
