Forward Deployed Engineer

Huntress is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its fully remote US team. This senior technical role works directly with customers to design, implement, and optimize Huntress security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise clients to understand security challenges and tailor Huntress solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and integrate security tools in diverse environments (cloud, on‑prem, hybrid).
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best‑practice recommendations during implementation.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts, scripts, and automation to accelerate deployments.
• Gather feedback from field engagements to influence product roadmap and feature enhancements.
• Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network security.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, scripting languages (Python, Bash) and APIs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, threat hunting, or incident response tools.
• Self‑starter attitude, comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation & Benefits
