Senior Data Analyst

Cornerstone onDemand is hiring a Senior Data Analyst in Newark, Essex County, US to drive predictive analytics for customer retention and expansion within the Revenue Operations Analytics COE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced statistical models to forecast churn, renewal rates, and expansion opportunities.
• Analyze large‑scale customer data sets to identify retention drivers and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to translate analytics into business actions.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for senior leadership.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for gross and net retention, providing regular performance reports.
• Lead ad‑hoc analytical projects that support revenue durability and post‑sale execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in SaaS or subscription‑based environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and experience with data‑visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle metrics (retention, churn, renewal, expansion).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, global analytics centre of excellence.
