About This Position
Insight Global is seeking a Level 4 Data Analyst for a high‑impact People Domain Activation project with a leading financial services client in Newark, Essex County, US. This role supports the transition to a Data‑as‑a‑Product operating model and offers a salary of $90,584 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Domain Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Engineering to define the scope of the People domain.
- Document and catalogue data assets, creating clear lineage and metadata records.
- Elicit, prioritize, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for data pipelines and reporting solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of Data‑as‑a‑Product services, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
- Develop analytical queries, dashboards, and visualisations to provide actionable insights to HR and finance stakeholders.
- Conduct data validation, profiling, and gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross‑functional workshops.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best‑practice documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or HR domain.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and Data‑as‑a‑Product concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
