Job Summary

Shaw Industries is hiring a Short Truck Driver LTO for its Ringgold, Catoosa County, US facility. The role works the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 4:00 pm‑12:00 am) moving carpet rolls, vinyl rolls and pallets within the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a short‑truck (LTO) safely to transport carpet, vinyl and palletized goods between the plant and distribution zones.
• Load and unload rolls, ensuring correct placement and inventory accuracy.
• Follow all safety, DOT and company policies while driving on‑site.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic logs for each move.
• Assist with receiving and shipping activities, including staging rolls for outbound shipments.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the LTO vehicle.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid US commercial driver’s license (CDL) with LTO endorsement.
• Prior experience operating short‑truck/LTO in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lb regularly and maneuver rolls safely.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork orientation.
• Availability to work 2nd shift (4:00 pm‑12:00 am) Monday‑Friday.
