Job Summary

Albertsons is hiring a Retail Sales and Store Support associate in Noe Valley, San Francisco. This front‑line role ensures the store is clean, organized and fully stocked while delivering friendly service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards, including aisles, checkout areas and promotional displays.
• Replenish shelves, rotate stock, and arrange merchandise (flowers, produce, packaged goods) to maximize shelf life and presentation.
• Receive and unload freight, verify deliveries against invoices, and stock back‑room inventory.
• Assist customers in locating products, answer inquiries, and provide a pleasant shopping experience.
• Prepare fresh produce and floral arrangements according to company guidelines.
• Operate point‑of‑sale systems for price checks, returns and basic transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily sales and service goals.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic math skills for inventory checks and cash handling.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits
