Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable, real‑time data pipelines and analytics services that support thousands of dealers and third‑party partners.
• Define system architecture, set technical standards, and drive best practices across the Amazon Autos ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust software solutions.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code quality and performance.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and security controls for mission‑critical services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java, C++, or Go and experience building large‑scale, distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of data streaming (e.g., Kafka), storage solutions (e.g., DynamoDB, S3), and cloud services (AWS).
• Proven ability to design high‑throughput, low‑latency APIs and microservices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
