Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of plumbing, irrigation, kitchen, bath, appliance, and lighting products.
- Accurately record receipts in the inventory management system and report discrepancies.
- Unload trucks, sort items, and stage merchandise for put‑away or immediate distribution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment for local plumbers, builders, and homeowners.
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external partners.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; additional logistics or supply‑chain training is a plus.
- Prior experience in warehouse receiving or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lb regularly and operate pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Proficient with computer systems; experience with inventory software is advantageous.
