Job Summary

Teradata is seeking a Customer Solution Architect in Topeka, Shawnee County, US. This role will design and deliver cloud‑based analytics and AI solutions for our enterprise clients, leveraging Teradata’s industry‑leading data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solution designs.
• Architect end‑to‑end cloud analytics solutions, including data ingestion, warehousing, and AI model deployment.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts and pilots, demonstrating value and ROI of Teradata’s platform.
• Provide technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations to both internal sales teams and external clients.
• Develop high‑level and detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring solutions align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Stay current with emerging data, cloud, and AI technologies and embed them into customer proposals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large‑scale data and analytics solutions, preferably on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, SQL, and modern analytics tools.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks and integrating models into production environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Teradata Certified Professional) are a plus.

Annual base salary: $161,647.86
