Fire Watch (RAL PG EA)

Emcor UK is hiring a Fire Watch (RAL PG EA) for a short‑term project in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. This role provides on‑site fire safety monitoring and rapid response to protect personnel and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned work areas continuously for fire hazards and report any unsafe conditions.
• Detect and extinguish incipient stage fires using appropriate fire‑extinguishing equipment.
• Activate emergency response procedures, notify fire department and site personnel promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily fire watch logs and incident reports.
• Coordinate with rigging, millwright and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct pre‑shift safety briefings and post‑shift debriefs.

Requirements

• Valid RAL PG EA certification or equivalent fire watch qualification.
• Prior experience in fire watch, industrial safety, or related field preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for long periods.
