Job Summary

Mastercard is hiring a Director, Sales Strategy and Operations for the U.S. Public Sector in Harrison, Westchester County, NY. This senior role leads strategic planning, sales execution and operational excellence for government and public‑sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the sales strategy for Mastercard’s U.S. public‑sector portfolio.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to develop go‑to‑market plans, pricing models and partnership frameworks.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and policy changes to inform growth opportunities.
  • Own the end‑to‑end sales operations process, including forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with product, legal, compliance and technology teams to ensure solutions meet public‑sector requirements.
  • Mentor and develop senior sales managers, fostering a high‑performance culture.
  • Represent Mastercard in industry forums, government meetings and strategic partner engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales strategy, operations or consulting experience, preferably in financial services or technology.
  • Proven track record of selling complex solutions to federal, state or local government entities.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable business plans.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities across senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Compensation

Base salary: $179,128.31 per year.
