Job Summary

Acosta Group is seeking a Customer Business Manager – CPG in Wellston, Saint Louis County, US. This retailer‑facing leader will execute client strategies, drive brand growth and accelerate results across assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the retailer expert for assigned CPG accounts, managing day‑to‑day execution of sales and marketing plans.
• Develop and deliver insight‑driven selling strategies that exceed category growth rates.
• Build and nurture long‑term partnerships with retail buyers and category managers.
• Analyze sales data, market trends and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal brand teams to align promotional activity, merchandising and inventory planning.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports and present results to clients and senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with retailer policies, pricing guidelines and promotional calendars.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in consumer packaged goods sales, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with Excel or data‑visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

Base salary: $71,357.45 annually.
