Delta Utilities Services, LLC is hiring a Gas Engineer to lead small‑scale natural gas projects from concept through completion. The role can be filled at Associate, Engineer, or Senior Engineer level based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of gas distribution projects, including design, permitting, and construction.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Design new pipelines or relocate existing facilities for subdivisions, system upgrades, and public improvement projects.
• Coordinate with local authorities, utility partners, and internal teams to secure permits and approvals.
• Conduct field inspections, oversee installation quality, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and assist in troubleshooting system issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required.
• Experience with natural gas distribution design, pipe sizing, and pressure‑regulation equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD, GIS, and engineering software.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 54, OSHA, and local utility regulations.
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.

Compensation

Annual salary: $75,753.51 (fixed) plus standard company benefits.
