Prima is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing team in shaping the future of motor insurance. Based in London, Laurel County, you will drive technical excellence while delivering innovative insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team of developers, data scientists and DevOps engineers.
• Define architecture, technical standards and best practices to ensure scalable, secure and high‑performance systems.
• Collaborate with product, data analytics and business stakeholders to translate market needs into technical roadmaps.
• Oversee full software development lifecycle, from sprint planning to deployment and monitoring.
• Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation and hiring plans.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, agile methodologies and data‑driven decision making.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and micro‑services architecture.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
