Job Summary

Google is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, Google Cloud AI to work from our Atlanta, Fulton County, US office. This role focuses on building scalable, secure infrastructure for AI services on Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core infrastructure components that power AI workloads on Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architecture, performance goals, and reliability standards.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and foster best‑practice engineering culture.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve system scalability, and ensure high availability.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, documentation, and automated testing frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure, distributed systems, or cloud platforms.
• Strong proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, Go, or Python.
• Deep understanding of networking, containers, orchestration (Kubernetes), and storage systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor junior team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work on AI/ML platform services or large‑scale data processing.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud products (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, AI Platform).

Compensation & Benefits
