Job Summary

Oracle is hiring a Software Development Snr Manager in Bismarck, Burleigh County, US. Lead a high‑performing engineering team to design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software for databases, applications, tools and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Define architecture and design specifications for new applications, operating systems and database solutions.
• Oversee development, debugging, testing and deployment of software programs ensuring quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, database systems, operating systems and network programming.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or Go.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver complex software projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Oracle technologies and cloud platforms.
• Agile/Scrum methodology expertise.
• Track record of building scalable, high‑availability systems.
