Join a dynamic, fully distributed legal team where your expertise drives case strategy and client success from the comfort of your home office. We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to manage complex litigation support, streamline legal workflows, and collaborate with top-tier attorneys across multiple practice areas.

About the Role

As a Remote Paralegal, you will serve as the backbone of our case management operations, handling everything from initial client intake to trial preparation. This is not a data-entry position; it is a strategic partnership role requiring critical thinking, advanced legal research capabilities, and the autonomy to manage a diverse caseload independently. You will leverage cutting-edge legal technology—including Clio, Relativity, and custom AI-assisted review tools—to deliver exceptional results for clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, proofread, and format complex legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis to support attorney arguments and case strategy development.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of discovery: processing ESI, coordinating document review projects, and maintaining privilege logs.
  • Organize and maintain electronic case files, ensuring strict version control and adherence to court-specific filing deadlines (ECF/PACER).
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, witnesses, and experts, scheduling depositions and preparing detailed witness preparation binders.
  • Assist with trial preparation including exhibit lists, demonstrative evidence coordination, and courtroom technology setup.

Requirements & Qualifications

We value demonstrated competency and specialized certifications over rigid tenure requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in an asynchronous, high-trust environment.

Must-Haves

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of substantive paralegal experience (Litigation focus preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal case management software (Clio, MyCase, or Smokeball).
  • Proven experience with E-filing in State and Federal courts across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a mastery of legal citation (Bluebook/ALWD).
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Paralegal (CP) credential from NALA or Registered Paralegal (RP) from NFPA.
  • Experience with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Logikcull, Everlaw).
  • Specialized knowledge in Intellectual Property, Employment Law, or Corporate Transactions.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is a significant plus.

Salary Range & Compensation

Estimated Annual Salary: $58,000 – $82,000 USD/year (Commensurate with experience, certifications, and geographic differential).

We believe in transparent, equitable pay. This range reflects the 25th to 75th percentile for senior remote paralegals in the current market. Top candidates with niche litigation expertise or advanced certifications (CP/RP) can expect offers at the upper quartile. In addition to base salary, we offer a structured annual bonus program tied to billable efficiency and client satisfaction metrics.
