About This Position
Job Summary
Celestica is seeking a Director, Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives from its Boise, Ada County, US office. This senior role oversees a global portfolio of projects, drives long‑term planning and manages a high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi‑year business development strategies aligned with Celestica’s global objectives.
- Lead, mentor and evaluate managers and cross‑functional teams, providing clear direction while granting appropriate autonomy.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams across the Americas and internationally.
- Set measurable objectives, define policies, and ensure compliance with corporate governance.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle—from concept and proposal development to execution and post‑implementation review.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and engineering to create viable business cases and secure investment.
- Represent Celestica at industry conferences, client meetings and executive forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, global projects and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary: $164,893.62. Celestica offers a comprehensive benefits package, performance bonuses, and professional development opportunities.
