Field Sales Development Representative (Remote)

Merck is hiring a Field Sales Development Representative to work remotely while serving customers across vacant territories in the United States, based out of Five Points, Wake County, US.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage prospective and existing customers face‑to‑face and virtually to build trusted relationships.
• Identify customer needs, provide consultative advice and recommend appropriate companion‑animal products.
• Collaborate with the Companion Animal Field Sales Team to achieve regional sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, forecasts and pipeline in CRM systems.
• Travel as needed within assigned territories to conduct product demonstrations and training.

Required Qualifications

• Proven sales or sales‑development experience, preferably in veterinary or animal‑health markets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
