About This Position
Job Summary
Fujifilm is seeking a Director of Endoscopy Infection Control to lead reprocessing and infection‑control programs for its endoscopic product portfolio in Wyoming, Kent County, US. This senior role combines technical expertise with cross‑functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee cleaning, high‑level disinfection, and sterilization protocols for all Fujifilm endoscopy devices.
- Serve as the primary subject‑matter expert for the Endoscopy Division and act as the main point of contact for customers, third‑party service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA, CDC, and international standards.
- Lead a team of infection‑control specialists, providing training, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Conduct risk assessments, root‑cause analyses, and corrective‑action plans for any contamination events.
- Generate detailed reports and metrics to track infection‑control effectiveness and present findings to senior leadership.
- Participate in product design reviews to embed cleanability and sterilization considerations early in the development cycle.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in endoscopic reprocessing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in infection control, preferably within endoscopy or medical device environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in high‑level disinfection (HLD) and sterilization processes for complex medical instruments.
- Strong understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and project‑management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with customers, auditors, and executive leadership.
Compensation
Annual salary: $203,956.55 (fixed)
