Job Summary
Fujifilm is seeking an experienced MRO Buyer I to join its Washington, D.C., US team. The role supports facility operations by managing the full procurement cycle for maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) supplies, capital equipment, and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with reliable vendors for MRO and capital goods.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure cost‑effective contracts.
- Enter purchase orders accurately, monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process returns, manage inventory adjustments, and maintain detailed procurement records.
- Collaborate closely with Facility Associates to understand material needs and ensure timely supply.
- Support the Purchasing Supervisor with reporting, spend analysis, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to Fujifilm’s compliance policies, ethical standards, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in MRO or manufacturing environments.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work East Coast business hours and handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
