Humana is hiring a Sales Support Professional in Washington, D.C., US. This role provides essential sales support to Large Group Sales Representatives across Specialty Sales Regions, driving technology adoption, reporting accuracy, and pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Large Group Sales Representatives with daily sales activities, including quote preparation, order entry, and contract documentation.
• Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting.
• Generate and analyze sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for regional leadership.
• Coordinate with internal teams—pricing, underwriting, and compliance—to resolve issues quickly.
• Support the implementation of new sales technologies and tools, providing training and troubleshooting as needed.
• Track market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
• Ensure timely follow‑up on leads, proposals, and customer inquiries.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in sales support, administrative sales functions, or insurance brokerage.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
