Job Summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Process Analyst for a fully remote role supporting the U.S. Coast Guard. The position is based out of the NY State Campus in Albany County, US, with a salary of $79,620.85.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mission‑enabling applications for the U.S. Coast Guard.
• Drive rapid delivery of functional applications and automated workflows in line with the Software Lifecycle Management Plan (SLMP).
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with stakeholder goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including developers, QA, and program managers—to ensure timely and quality releases.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, create workflow diagrams, and implement best practices for efficiency.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, conduct user training, and support post‑implementation troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or related roles, preferably within federal or defense contracting environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with process‑mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and requirements‑management platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while maintaining high productivity.

• Experience with U.S. Coast Guard or other maritime agencies.
