About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead our occupational health and safety strategy for a fully remote team of 300+ professionals. You will collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership to develop policies that meet OSHA, EPA, and state‑specific regulations while leveraging digital tools for training, incident reporting, and continuous improvement. This position offers the autonomy to shape safety culture across diverse environments, from home offices to field sites, ensuring every employee returns home safely each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a corporate safety management system aligned with ISO 45001 and federal regulations.
• Conduct virtual risk assessments, job‑hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations for remote and hybrid workspaces.
• Design and deliver engaging e‑learning modules, webinars, and micro‑learning campaigns on topics such as emergency preparedness, chemical safety, and mental‑health awareness.
• Manage incident investigation workflows using a cloud‑based EHS platform; track corrective actions to closure.
• Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory audits, insurance inspections, and workers’ compensation claims.
• Analyze safety metrics (TRIR, DART, near‑miss rates) and present dashboards to executive leadership quarterly.
• Champion a proactive safety culture through recognition programs, safety committees, and continuous feedback loops.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry certification; additional state‑specific credentials a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of progressive safety management experience, with at least 3 years in a remote or multi‑site leadership role.
