Job Summary
Immersive Labs is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join its South Boston, Suffolk County office. This role supports the company’s people‑centric cyber resilience mission by delivering HR services, managing employee lifecycle processes, and driving engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding experiences, preparing new‑hire paperwork, equipment, and orientation schedules.
- Support payroll and benefits administration, answering employee inquiries and coordinating with external vendors.
- Assist with performance management cycles, gathering feedback, tracking goals, and preparing reports for leadership.
- Develop and promote employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and internal communications.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations issues, and conflict resolution while ensuring confidentiality.
- Analyze HR metrics and produce dashboards to identify trends and improve people operations efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR or People Operations, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law, payroll, benefits, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative startup culture.
Compensation & Benefits
