Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain security platforms such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools.
- Lead cross‑functional projects to integrate security controls into new applications and infrastructure.
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed security architecture and implementation plans.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and deliver security automation scripts and playbooks to improve response times.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior security engineers.
- Collaborate with IT, network, and development teams to embed security best practices throughout the SDLC.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in information security engineering or operations.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud (AWS/Azure), and operating system security.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Compensation
Salary range: $98,271.85 – $98,271.85 per year.
