About the Role

In this fully remote position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and processing medical claims to ensure compliance with payer guidelines.
• Investigating payment discrepancies, denials, and Observer messages.
• Collaborating with the provider relations team to resolve claim issues and submit appeals.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) and practice management systems.
• Generating reports on reimbursement trends, denial rates, and financial impact for senior leadership.

We expect you to stay current_TR with industry regulations, payer contracts, and best practices in medical billing and coding. Your analytical mindset and strong communication skills will enable you to work independently while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical billing, claims processing, or reimbursement analysis within a healthcare setting.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Meditech) and practice management software.

• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and CMS guidelines.

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
