Job Summary
Zurich NA is seeking a Senior Incident Response Consultant to join its SpearTip cyber‑security consulting team in Boston, Suffolk County, US. This senior‑level role focuses on leading threat‑hunting, incident handling, and cyber‑counterintelligence projects for high‑profile clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end incident response engagements, from detection through containment, eradication and post‑mortem reporting.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and malware analysis using cutting‑edge tools and zero‑day detection techniques.
- Develop and deliver tailored cyber‑resilience strategies that protect shareholder value and corporate reputation.
- Collaborate with clients’ security teams to design and implement proactive defenses and cyber‑intelligence programs.
- Mentor junior consultants, share best practices, and contribute to SpearTip’s knowledge base.
- Stay current on emerging threat actors, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in incident response, threat hunting, or cyber‑forensics.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, Windows/Linux/macOS forensics, and malware reverse engineering.
- Professional certifications such as GCIH, GNFA, or CISSP preferred.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical findings to both technical and executive audiences.
- Proven ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments.
