Job Summary

RxBenefits is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant in Atlanta, Fulton County, US. This senior role partners with Business Development, Account Management and Operations to provide clinical expertise that drives client growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent RxBenefits at client meetings, industry conferences, and virtual webinars, presenting updates on pharmacy practice, formulary management and new RxBenefits solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Development to assess client needs, develop customized clinical strategies and support new business proposals.
• Provide expert guidance to Account Management on therapeutic alternatives, medication safety, and cost‑containment initiatives.
• Lead clinical reviews of client formularies, medication utilization data and adherence programs, recommending evidence‑based improvements.
• Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and client staff on best practices in medication therapy management.
• Stay current with federal and state pharmacy regulations, emerging therapies and industry trends, ensuring RxBenefits remains a thought leader.
• Prepare detailed clinical reports, white papers and case studies for internal and external audiences.
• Serve as a clinical resource during audits, compliance reviews and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in managed care or health‑services consulting.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret utilization data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable speaking to senior executives and large audiences.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority.
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) operations, formulary design and medication therapy management programs.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $214,260.16 annually. Comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off and professional development opportunities.
