About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Senior Electrical Engineer to join our distributed engineering team at Voltara Solutions. In this position, you will own the design, simulation, and validation of complex electrical circuits and power electronics used in next-generation renewable energy storage products. You will collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and product teams across time zones to bring reliable, efficient hardware from concept to mass production.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and review schematics for high-voltage and low-power circuits.
• Run thermal, EMI, and signal-integrity simulations remotely using cloud tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews over video.
• Partner with contract manufacturers to debug prototypes and scale assembly.

Requirements

To thrive in this remote Senior Electrical Engineer job, you should bring proven experience and self-direction:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7+ years designing PCBs, power supplies, or embedded electrical systems.
• Strong grasp of SPICE, Altium, and Python-based test automation.

Salary Range

Based on current industry standards for remote senior-level electrical engineering roles in the U.S., we estimate the compensation for this position at $125,000 – $155,000 USD/year, depending on experience and location. Top performers also qualify for an annual review-based bonus.
