Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end execution of capital projects across transmission, substation and distribution sectors.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, design, procurement and construction teams as well as external consultants, utilities and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets and resource plans, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Administer contracts, track change orders, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular status reports, performance metrics and presentations to senior leadership.
- Mentor junior project staff and foster a collaborative, safety‑first culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing large‑scale transmission or substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of NERC, IEEE and local utility standards.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office suite.
