About the Role

As a Mechanical Designer on our remote design squad, you’ll partner with cross‑functional teams—product managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing specialists—to turn visionary ideas into tangible, manufacturable components. Your നിയോഗ will include:

• Developing detailed 2‑D and 3‑D CAD models using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA.
• Creating precise drawings, tolerances, and assembly instructions for internal and external partners.
• Running simulations (FEA, CFD) to validate structural integrity and performance.
• Collaborating with suppliers to refine material selections and cost‑effective manufacturing methods.
• Participating in rapid prototyping cycles and iterative design reviews.

Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in consumer electronics, automotive, or industrial equipment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Inventor; familiarity with CATIA and Siemens NX is a plus.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
• Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent) to evaluate stress, vibration, and thermal performance.
• Solid grasp of material science, tolerances, and design for manufacturability (DFM).

Soft Skills & Remote Readiness

• Self‑motivated with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey complex design concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Miro, and Jira.
