About This Position
The Director of Endoscopy Infection Control at Fujifilm in Uptown, Marion County, US leads all re‑processing and infection‑control activities for the company’s endoscopic product portfolio. This senior role acts as the primary subject‑matter expert on cleaning, high‑level disinfection and sterilization of Fujifilm endoscopy devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee infection‑control policies and procedures for all endoscopic products.
- Lead cross‑functional teams—including engineering, quality, regulatory, and customer support—to ensure compliance with FDA, CDC, and international standards.
- Serve as the main liaison with hospitals, third‑party re‑processing firms, and key customers on best practices and troubleshooting.
- Manage validation studies, risk assessments, and continuous‑improvement initiatives for cleaning and sterilization processes.
- Provide training and technical support to internal staff and external partners on high‑level disinfection and sterilization protocols.
- Monitor and report on infection‑control metrics, audit results, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with product development to embed infection‑control considerations into new endoscope designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in endoscopy re‑processing, infection control, or medical device sterilization, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, AAMI TIR30, and CDC re‑processing guidelines.
- Proven track record of managing cross‑functional projects and driving regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
