About This Position
Ochsner Health is seeking a Board‑Certified Physician specializing in Neurology to join our Virtual Diagnostic team, based in Custom House, Orleans Parish, US. This full‑time role offers a competitive annual salary of $104,806.96.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote neurological assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans via telehealth platforms.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, EEG, EMG, and other neuro‑tests in a virtual setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, physiatrists, and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA and Ochsner’s electronic health record (EHR) standards.
- Participate in virtual case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Neurology.
- Active medical license in Louisiana (or eligibility for licensure).
