About This Position
GE HealthCare is seeking an MR Clinical Excellence Leader – Academic to join its Rochester, MN team. This senior role drives product design, development and clinical execution for magnetic resonance technologies within an academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination and execution of departmental operations for MR clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering, research and academic partners to design MR products that safely interact with the human body.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve technical procedures, best‑practice guidelines and standard operating protocols.
- Review and evaluate project outcomes against established policies, ensuring compliance and high‑quality results.
- Mentor and guide multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific rigor.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Radiology, Physics or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MR technology development, clinical research or academic leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in MR safety, product design, and clinical workflow integration.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets and cross‑functional teams.
Compensation
Annual salary: $116,336.12
