Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS)
About This Position
Stand 8 is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, US. This role oversees cross‑functional teams, manages scope, schedule and budget, and ensures successful delivery of a critical enterprise solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the EAMS project from initiation through closure.
- Coordinate business analysts, developers, infrastructure, and vendor partners to meet project milestones.
- Define and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers.
- Monitor progress, produce status reports, and communicate updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage change requests, scope adjustments and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate regular steering committee meetings and stakeholder workshops.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, security standards and quality assurance processes.
- Mentor junior project staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing large‑scale IT or enterprise software implementations, preferably EAMS or ERP systems.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross‑functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP or Scrum Master are a plus.
